ABOUT KEVIN
Built around the belief that the numbers are only part of the job.
Kevin earned his Master of Accountancy from Baylor University in 2014 and became a licensed CPA in 2015. He founded Business Casual Tax with a straightforward belief: technically correct work is essential, but it should be the foundation of the client experience—not the entirety of it.
Every engagement is tailored to the client. Some clients prefer a straightforward, conservative approach. Others are comfortable with additional complexity to pursue every supportable planning opportunity. We explain the options, risks and tradeoffs, then build the engagement around the client’s goals and comfort level.
I’ll tell you where the line is, explain what it means and help you understand the options. It is up to you whether you want to step up to it.
Kevin lives in Dallas, TX with his wife, who previously worked as a neuro operating room nurse and now stays home with their three children. Between building a firm and raising three young kids, he has a healthy appreciation for how limited a physician’s time can be. Working with a CPA should make life simpler—not create another project to manage.
