Who this policy covers
This policy explains how Business Casual Tax handles information submitted through businesscasual.tax, including the physician questionnaire and the scheduling process. Business Casual Tax is a CPA practice based in Dallas, Texas, serving clients nationwide. Questions about this policy can be sent to contact@businesscasual.tax.
Information collected
Contact information you provide: first name, last name, email address, phone number if you choose to give one, your medical specialty, and how you heard about the firm.
Questionnaire responses: the income sources you expect this year and their approximate ranges, entity and payroll information, the states where you live and expect to work, your current tax and accounting support, the priorities you select, your timing, and any free-text context you choose to add.
Scheduling information: when you book a call, the appointment is created through Google Calendar’s appointment scheduling, which collects the information required to schedule and confirm the meeting.
Technical and usage information: aggregated, page-level analytics provided by Framer, the platform that hosts this site.
Please do not send sensitive records through the questionnaire
Do not submit Social Security numbers, ITINs, tax returns or other tax documents, K-1s, bank or brokerage account numbers, or other highly sensitive records through the initial questionnaire. The questionnaire is intended for the general information needed to evaluate fit and prepare for a conversation. If we begin working together, you will be given a secure method for exchanging documents.
How the information is used
Submissions are used to evaluate whether the firm is a fit for your situation, to prepare for the consultation so the call starts with your actual circumstances rather than basic intake, to respond to your inquiry, and — if you become a client — to provide the agreed services. Your information is not used for advertising or profiling.
Service providers
Framer hosts this website, processes form submissions and provides aggregated site analytics. Google provides the appointment scheduling used to book calls and delivers the fonts used on this site. An email provider is used to receive and respond to messages. These providers process information only to operate the website and the scheduling process.
Business Casual Tax does not sell personal information
Your information is not sold, rented or traded. It is disclosed only to the service providers described above, where disclosure is required by law or professional obligation, or where you have asked for it to be shared.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and it does not run advertising pixels. Analytics are aggregated and provided by Framer. The Google Calendar scheduling embed is served by Google and may set its own cookies under Google’s privacy policy when you interact with it.
Retention
Questionnaire submissions and related correspondence are kept for as long as needed to evaluate fit and respond. If you become a client, records are retained in line with professional and legal record-retention obligations that apply to a CPA practice. If you do not become a client and ask for your submission to be deleted, it will be deleted or anonymized.
Security
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect the information collected through this site, including transport encryption and access limited to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, which is one reason the questionnaire asks you not to send highly sensitive records.
Children
This site is intended for business and professional audiences and is not directed to children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
